A Tung Chung studio for careful wave annotation
Cortex Helix Field Academy teaches Elliott wave chart marking as a craft practiced at a table—pencil first, ink second, argument always welcome.
Official name and founding
The official registered business name is Cortex Helix Field Academy Limited. The academy was established in 2014 after a small circle of Hong Kong chart readers began meeting above the Citygate arcades to compare Elliott wave counts on printed index and futures charts.
Those early Saturday sessions had no software projection and no trade calls—only rulers, overlays, and the discipline of writing degree names the same way every time. Demand for structured critique grew, and the circle formalized as a limited company with a permanent studio address in Tung Chung.
Mission
We exist to train traders and analysts to annotate Elliott wave structures so clearly that a colleague can reconstruct the argument months later. Clarity of marks matters more than bravado about the next swing.
People and approach
Lead instructor desk
Clinics are led by practitioners who have marked equities, FX, and futures charts for Hong Kong desks and independent traders. Instruction stays on structure: impulse integrity, corrective alternation, channel touches, and degree hygiene.
We keep cohorts small. Twelve seats is the hard ceiling for the flagship annotation clinic so every sheet receives attention.
Values in the room
- Disagreement is recorded, not erased, when two valid skeletons compete.
- Educational charts are examples; we do not place trades for participants.

Hong Kong setting
Sessions meet at Citygate Outlets, 20 Tat Tung Rd, Tung Chung, Hong Kong—close to the airport corridor and reachable for traders based on Hong Kong Island and in Kowloon who prefer an evening clinic away from the Central noise.
