Inside an annotation clinic evening
A practical walkthrough of how Cortex Helix Field Academy runs Elliott wave annotation clinics—from arrival at Citygate to the post-session count summary.
Arrival and seating
Doors open twenty minutes before the listed start. Seats are assigned to keep sight lines to the shared chart wall clear. Remote observation seats, when offered, join audio after the warm-up so in-room discussion is not interrupted.
Materials on the table
Each place receives printed chart packs, an annotation checklist, and access to shared copper rulers and Fibonacci overlays. Bring your own fine-tip pens in two colors and a quiet notebook. Laptops stay closed during timed marking blocks.
- Warm-up mark on a short impulse with no discussion.
- First full problem: multi-year chart with incomplete labels.
- Instructor critique of contested pivots and degree jumps.
- Second problem under a shorter clock, then peer comparison.
- Debrief with invalidation notes and take-home summary.
What we ask of you
Come prepared to defend marks out loud and to revise them. Clinics reward careful hesitation more than speed. Markets on the sheets are educational examples drawn from public historical data.
After the session
Within two business days we email a brief count summary for the charts used that evening. Private follow-up belongs to a separate chart review appointment.
